Job summary

Lyreco UK and Ireland is seeking a Washroom Service Operative to service washroom equipment across Manchester and surrounding areas. The role is full-time, 45 hours per week, 12-month FTC, offering a salary of £31,473 per annum.

You will deliver services to customer sites, handle waste disposal, maintain paperwork, perform daily vehicle checks, and comply with health and safety directives while providing excellent customer service as an ambassador for Lyreco.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
• Ability to organise and plan own workload.
• Standalone role requiring initiative.

• Professional and diplomatic with customers.
• DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

Washroom Service Operative

Service Area – Manchester and surrounding areas

Salary - £31,473.00 per annum | 12 months FTC | Full-time 45 hrs pw (Mon–Fri)

Join Lyreco, a global leader in workplace solutions, as a Washroom Service Operative.

As a Washroom Service Operative, you will be responsible for the servicing of various washroom equipment including feminine hygiene units, nappy waste systems, sharps units, air freshener systems and vending machines. Our Washroom Service Operatives are responsible for the delivery of our services/goods to customer sites in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. Acting as ambassadors for our business, excellent customer service skills are required

What You’ll Do As a Washroom Service Operative

• Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste from the premises of production
• Ensure all paperwork for services/products delivered or returned goods are checked and signed off
• Perform daily vehicle checks prior to starting customer service visits
• Complete all service schedules allocated by Service Support Administrator
• Adhere to all H&S requirements, always including manual handling of goods, monitor working hours to ensure compliance with Working Time Directives (WTD) and Driving Time Directives (DTD)

What we’re looking for as a Washroom Service Operative

• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Ability to organise and plan their own workload
• This is a standalone role where you will be required to work under your own initiative.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
• An ability to remain professional and diplomatic whilst dealing with customers.
• The successful candidate will be subjected to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
