Job summary

St Thomas More Catholic Academy and Sixth Form College is seeking a reliable, approachable casual supervisor to support the school during the day by overseeing pupil toilet use and safety. You will keep logs, manage queues, and perform regular checks, while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality in a busy school setting.

The role requires a calm, professional approach with positive interactions with pupils, and an understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

• Supervising pupils using the toilet facilities during the school day.
• Maintaining an accurate log of pupils entering the toilets.

• Reporting any damage or concerns to the Line Manager.
• Promoting positive relationships with pupils in line with the school's behaviour expectations.
• Following school policies, procedures and the Staff Code of Conduct.
• Maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Job description

This is a casual position, offering the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis to support the school during the school day. The successful candidate will play an important role in supervising the use of pupil toilets and ensuring that the facilities are used safely and appropriately.
