Bibb y Line Group in Falkirk is seeking a Washbay Operative to maintain cleanliness and readiness of welfare units and plant equipment. You will support the depot by preparing products for delivery and advising on minor repairs upon return.

The role requires attention to detail, proactive teamwork, and flexibility to work unusual hours and travel as needed. A background in yard environments is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Work within the Washbay department, cleaning welfare units/plant equipment to safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Ensure plants are cleaned and replenished before dispatch and upon return to the depot.
• Advise on operational repairs and damages when items return to the depot.
• Support all areas of the depot, including cleaning returns and preparing products for delivery.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and use PPE as required.

We are looking for a Washbay Operative. || | What You’ll Be Doing: Work within the Washbay department, cleaning welfare units/plant equipment to company requirements in relation to safety, quality and efficiency. The Wash Bay is responsible for ensuring all plants are cleaned and replenished before they are dispatched and when they are returned to the depot, in order to ensure the product reaches the next customer in excellent condition. They are also a very important part of the team in advising us on operational repairs and damages upon return to the depot. Supporting all areas of the depot, from cleaning the product on its return to preparing the product for delivery. This role is key to ensuring our product reaches the customer by displaying our excellent standard of quality and ensuring it is in good working order. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities • Support the Depot Hire Operations and their team with the delivery of great quality supplied to our customers, through successful operational teamwork. • Work closely with stores, PDI, and yard personnel to ensure correct standard of product is delivered. • Demonstrate and maintain a high level of excellent, best housekeeping practises, in and around your working area. • To provide additional help and support to the operational teams when necessary. • Support the working environment with continuous improvement including compliance of the companies Quality policy, Quality System & the appropriate regulations for the area. • Use of appropriate PPE/work equipment to undertake tasks safely at all times. • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
