Job description

As a Wash Area Cleaner, your role will include following cleaning schedules for de-stoners and washer barrels using predominately pressure washers, communicating with colleagues and other departments and general hygiene of the Wash Area.

£12.76 per hour

Reporting to:

Shift Manager

Main responsibilities

• Ensuring work area is tidy and safe at all times
• Ensuring cleaning schedules and lock-off procedures are adhered to
• Complying with Organic potato requirements
• Ensuring ‘clean as you go’ procedure is adhered to at all times
• Fully compliant with H&S procedures and processes
• Ensuring effective communication at all times
• Participating in daily performance briefings, bringing forward ideas for improvement
• Adhering to Company procedures, policies and guidelines

Our ideal candidate will have the following

• Safety awareness
• Ability to use own initiative and be self-motivated
• Experience in a similar manufacturing role would be beneficial, but full training will be provided
