Job summary

Exeter A Learning Community Academy is seeking a caring Early Years Lunchtime Midday Supervisor to join the team. This role focuses on supervising children during lunch periods, supporting their eating, and promoting safe, positive play in a warm school environment.

You'll help maintain health and safety, assist with setting up lunchtime areas, and report any concerns to staff. This temporary post offers 5 hours weekly across 38 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Supervising children during lunch periods and outdoor play.
• Supporting children with eating their meals and promoting good table manners.
• Encouraging positive play and social interaction.
• Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all children at all times.
• Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of lunchtime areas where required.
• Managing minor incidents and reporting any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Promoting the school's values and behaviour expectations.
