Job summary

PDM Glasgow is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Operative to join our team at a busy Scottish branch. You’ll handle loading and unloading deliveries, account for stock, and keep the warehouse tidy in line with health and safety guidelines.

A forklift licence is beneficial; training is provided, and you’ll benefit from a strong annual leave allowance, a company pension, life assurance, and staff discounts as part of the Huws Gray Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or yard operations is preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong stock-checking and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload branch deliveries.
• Ensure all incoming stock is accounted for and report missing/low stock to management.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and store stock in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Be security conscious to safeguard stock and prevent theft.

Here’s a Quick Overview Of Some Of The Things You Can Expect To Do As a Warehouse Operative With PDM

• Loading and unloading of branch deliveries.
• Making sure all incoming stock is accounted for, raising any missing stock or low stock levels to management
• Keeping the warehouse tidy, making sure that stock is stored in line with health and safety guidelines
• Safeguard against the theft of our stock by being security conscious at all times.
