Job summary

Optime Group are recruiting a Warehouse Operative Trainer / Team Leader to join a well-respected client on Bath Road. The role combines hands-on leadership with structured training delivery within a secure environment, delivering induction and SSOW training while ensuring safety and performance standards.

You will lead a small team, monitor compliance and training records, and be flexible with shifts (5 days a week) including early starts.

Qualifications

• 5 years of working experience in the UK (compulsory).
• At least 6 months experience as Trainer.
• Valid UK driving licence (compulsory).
• Strong training delivery and presentation skills.
• Previous leadership or team leading experience.
• Good understanding of SSOW, compliance, and operational processes.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Full computer knowledge (compulsory).
• Flexible to work rotational shifts.
• Willingness to support overtime during peak operational periods.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following the interview in line with CAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivering induction training for new starters.
• Conducting Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) training and refresher sessions.
• Providing ongoing operational training across departments.
• Coaching and supporting staff to improve performance and service quality.
• Handling customer complaint.
• Leading team and supporting daily operational activities.
• Monitoring compliance, performance, and training records.
• Supporting operational tasks when required.
• You will complete a 3-week training course before officially starting the role.
