Job summary

Coca-cola European Partners is recruiting Warehouse Technician Operatives for our Wakefield site. Roles cover goods in and distribution, with full training and development opportunities. The site operates a Continental shift pattern and 42 hours per week, with overtime and a comprehensive package including benefits and pension.

Candidates will join a fast-paced, 24/7 operation focused on safe handling, stock accuracy and efficient logistics to keep production running and customers supplied.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience or training is preferred.
• Reliable and able to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to shift patterns.
• Team player with good communication.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehousing is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks (full training provided).
• Receive, store and organise stock within warehouse areas.
• Prepare and assemble orders for dispatch.
• Use SAP and warehouse systems to track stock.
• Stack goods across storage systems (racking, block stack).
• Support stock accuracy and smooth vehicle movements.

Salary: £36,201.00 pa

Continental Shift Pattern: 3 days on (7am-7pm), 3 days off, 3 nights on (7pm-7am), 3 days off. 42 hours per week, annualised hours contract.

We’re hiring Warehouse Technician Operatives to join our Wakefield team across both manufacturing (Goods In) and distribution. These roles sit at the heart of our operation, helping ensure materials are received, handled, stored and moved efficiently so we can keep production running and customers supplied.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll develop the skills and flexibility to work across key warehouse activities, either within Goods In or distribution.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating forklift trucks (full training provided)
• Receiving, storing and organising stock within warehouse areas
• Preparing and assembling orders ready for dispatch
• Using SAP and warehouse management systems to track and manage stock
• Stacking goods across different storage systems, including racking and block stack
• Supporting stock accuracy, traceability and smooth vehicle movements
• Carrying out basic quality checks and maintaining high housekeeping standards

Over time, you’ll build confidence across multiple tasks and gain a strong understanding of how the wider operation fits together.
