Job summary

Warburtons is recruiting Bakery Team Members for our Enfield site to help manufacture top-quality bakery products. You will operate production machinery, monitor lines and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced team.

We offer flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays. Previous food manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks and record production data accurately.
• Follow health & safety and food hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
• Report any faults or issues to the Team Leader promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas

The Recipe

As a Production Operative at Warburtons, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our bakery products are made to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Our Enfield Bakery and Distribution site is one of the largest bakeries in Europe! We have 5 operating plants and around 500 colleagues who work a variety of shift patterns. At Enfield we have 40 different nationalities working together, and we celebrate our One Team family values. Our site runs 363 days of the year and operates 24/7!

Based in Brimsdown in North London, 15 minutes from M25, 10 minutes’ walk from Brimsdown overground, connected easily to Liverpool Street Station via Tottenham Hale.We produce over 4.8 million crumpets per week, which is equivalent to 800,000 packets of 6 as well as producing a variety of other products.
