Job summary

Warburtons in Burnley is seeking a Bakery Team Member on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role features 12-hour shifts in a 4 on/4 off pattern with days and nights, and pay of £640.00 per week. You will work across our busy production lines and warehouses, upholding strict hygiene and quality standards to support a 24/7 operation.

As part of the UK's No. 1 Bakery Brand, you’ll contribute to safe, efficient processes and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern incorporating days and nights.
• Experience in a similar role within FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods).
• Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others.
• A good attention to detail with a firm focus on Quality and Health & Safety.
• Able to adapt well to change and undertake a variety of activities across our operation.
• Demonstrating teamwork and communicating effectively developing relationships with team members and other teams across the site.

Responsibilities

• Operate production lines and warehouses across multiple departments.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and quality control.
• Support health and safety initiatives and follow company procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily production targets.

Located in the heart of Lancashire is the home of our delicious Crumpets, Pancakes, and Potato Cakes and other freshly baked products that are produced and distributed from our Burnley Bakery. With approximately 360 colleagues, working across 7 manufacturing plants and on a variety of different shift patterns, we operate 363 days of the year running 24 hours a day.
