Job summary

myenergi Ltd is seeking a proactive Stores Team Lead to take charge of the Stores area when the Shift Supervisor is not present and to assist with daily business tasks. You will guide team members, manage stock handling, and ensure accurate goods receipt and despatch processes.

Responsibilities include supervising loading/unloading, conducting monthly stock checks, and training staff to SOPs while seeking continuous improvements in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy.
• Must be physically fit with good manual handling.
• FLT experience preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of quality systems e.g. ISO9001 and KPI’s.
• Understanding and creation of SOPs.
• Observant and detail‑oriented.
• Manufacturing/electrical component knowledge preferred.

• Influence and assist the Shift Supervisor to lead the team.
• Unloading/loading of vehicles and use of forklift/hand truck.
• Conduct monthly finished goods stock counts and inventory checks.
• Receipting goods inwards using the in-house system.
• Ensure goods conform to specification and paperwork matches.
• Put away and label stock into Warehouse locations.
• Prepare orders for despatch to customers.
• Train team members to SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes.

Role Summary:

To take the lead of the Stores area when the Shift Supervisor is not present & assist the Shift Supervisor as and when required to complete day to day business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the other team members with their usual roles and be the one to make decisions should any occurrences arise.
• Influence and assist the Shift Supervisor with leading the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge of quality systems eg ISO9001 and KPI’s plus experience in a quality inspection environment preferable.
• Understand and creation of SOP’s.
• Observant and keen eye for detail.
• Manufacturing / electrical component knowledge preferred.
