Job details

Salary £31,633.88 plus excellent benefits. Location: Manchester. Discipline Reference: 020622.

We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our Logistics team! As a Team Leader for N Brown, you’ll manage operational processes, resources, and colleagues within our Logistics operation. You’ll ensure excellent customer experience, drive change through continuous improvement, and be a role model for our core behaviors and culture.

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off. Working hours: 2pm to 1:30am.

Location: Our Logistics hub is located in Shaw, Oldham, accessible via Tram and with free parking.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead, support, motivate, train, and develop colleagues to meet operational objectives.
2. Log colleague time and attendance accurately and manage absences per policy.
3. Maintain health & safety and housekeeping standards, ensuring a safe environment.
4. Achieve production and compliance targets and SLA’s, optimize resource use, and respond to production plan adjustments.
5. Deliver departmental budgets through effective planning and performance management.
6. Review performance, quality, and provide weekly cost analysis.
7. Investigate trends in MI and respond accordingly.
8. Be flexible with shift start/finish times and support business needs with overtime when required.
9. Manage multiple departments outside main responsibilities as needed.
10. Identify and support process improvements using lean six sigma methodology.
