Job summary

Culina Group is looking for a confident Warehouse Team Leader to join our Contract Logistics operation in Carlisle. You will lead a team of around 10 colleagues, drive productivity and ensure health, safety and quality standards are met on a daily basis.

In this fast-paced role you will support the Shift Manager, deliver clear team briefings, monitor KPIs and develop staff through coaching while ensuring smooth goods in and warehousing processes across the operation.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience leading or supervising a team in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to handle alcohol products within a Beer, Wines & Spirits operation.
• Strong communication and clear information sharing.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proven track record of motivating teams to hit targets and KPIs.
• Comfortable using IT systems to manage operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues across the operation.
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and KPI targets are achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance with records completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to meet customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication to keep colleagues informed and focused.
• Support goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received and made available efficiently.
• Coach and develop team members to maximise performance and progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations and disciplinary matters, per company procedures.

We are looking for a confident and hands-onWarehouse Team Leaderto join our Contract Logistics operation in Carlisle. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.

In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Comfortable handling alcohol products within a Beer, Wines and Spirits operation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.
