Stonegate Farmers Ltd in Lacock, Wiltshire is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader (Packing Centre) to supervise daily operations and drive performance.

You'll lead from the front in a fast-paced FMCG packing environment, ensure accurate picking, loading and unloading, maintain safety standards and coach a team on 4-on-4-off shifts from 06:00 to 18:00.

We offer an hourly rate of £13.78, regular weekly pay, on-site parking and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience supervising or managing a team
• Experience working to strict deadlines
• Experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food operation
• Previous experience using an Electric Pump/Pallet Truck
• Good computer skills and confidence using basic IT systems
• Strong communication and people skills
• The ability to motivate others and drive team performance
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative

Responsibilities

• Supporting the accurate and timely picking, loading and unloading of customer orders
• Helping ensure the correct warehouse processes are followed to maintain quality and safety standards
• Accurately counting goods and finished stock at the beginning or end of shifts
• Ensuring finished goods are stacked and stored correctly to prevent damage and quality issues
• Supporting the Warehouse Shift Managers with the effective running of the team
• Helping motivate and coordinate colleagues to deliver against operational deadlines
• Ensuring dispatched goods are safe, legal and meet the required quality standards, including requirements under the BRC Global Standard
• Promoting a strong Health & Safety culture across the warehouse
• Ensuring the correct PPE is worn and appropriate manual handling techniques are followed
• Taking a proactive approach to resolving issues and keeping the operation running smoothly
