Job summary

Stonegate Farmers Ltd in Lacock, Wiltshire, is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer for our Packing Centre. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement in a busy food manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Shift Lead, you'll maintain CMMS records, cooperate with Production to maximise efficiency, and help ensure HACCP, GMP, and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification at Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and automated production lines.
• Experience with mechanical fault-finding and maintenance.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Available to work a 4 on 4 off rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain CMMS records of maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and planned work.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work with Production to maximise plant efficiency and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and health & safety.
