Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Worksop to lead a fast-paced operation. You will coordinate a team of warehouse colleagues, drive productivity and KPI targets, and ensure safety, quality and customer service standards are met daily.

You will coach and develop staff, support investigations when needed, and work closely with the Shift Manager to maintain smooth goods flow and accurate records in a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication skills with clear information sharing.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to motivate teams to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of around warehouse colleagues across the operation.
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.
