What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You will lead your team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals, whilst promoting a team-based culture.
• Responsible for daily supervision of Warehouse Operatives, Agency Staff, and warehouse resources in line with operational responsibilities to meet targets, deadlines, and customer requirements. Any serious deviations from the plan should be reported according to local processes.
• Respond constructively to internal and external customer requests while developing and maintaining effective communication.
• Encourage continuous improvement of procedures.
• You will be aware of any hazards, incidents, or accidents and report them to the proper authority to ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience working in a warehouse leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• People management and line management experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
