Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. in Wakefield is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise the shift, bridge between supervisors and warehouse staff, and ensure safe, accurate operations on a 39.5-hour week schedule (4pm–12am, Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturdays).

You will coordinate activities, manage staff hours and absence, and develop the team to maximise productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced depots environment, with a focus on attention to detail and strong communication.

Wakefield Team Lead

Wakefield

39.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 4pm-12am, with 1 in 3 Saturdays

£13.55 per hour, plus time based supplements totalling between £13.75-£16.93

We’re looking for a Team Lead to come join our Wakefield Depot. In this role you will be the link between the supervisors and warehouse staff providing immediate hands‑on leadership and supervision ensuring maximum effort and attention to detail in a safe and tidy environment.

The heart of the role

• Coordinating, prioritising, and delegating Warehouse activities.
• Management of staff hours, sickness, holidays to help ensure no detriment to operations.
• To motivate and develop staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
