Great Bear is seeking a confident Warehouse Team Leader to join our Northampton operation. You will lead a team, drive productivity, and ensure high standards of safety and customer service in a fast-paced warehouse.

In this role you will support the Shift Manager, motivate the team, and maintain effective communication while meeting targets and KPIs. The position is full-time, 4 on/4 off, days, 06:00–18:00, 40.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of warehouse colleagues across the operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.

Job Description

We are looking for confident and hands-on Warehouse Team Leaders to join our Great Bear operation in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.

In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 to 18:00, 40.25 hours per week.

Salary

GBP 15.51 per hour (Inc. TL step-up), plus overtime paid at time and half
