Job summary

Great Bear (part of Culina Group) in Northampton is seeking confident Warehouse Team Leaders to guide a fast-moving operation. You will support the Shift Manager by motivating the team, delivering productivity, quality, and safety standards every day.

This full-time, permanent role offers a 4 on 4 off days schedule (06:00–18:00), 40.25 hours weekly, and hourly pay of GBP 15.51 with overtime at time and a half. Training and career development opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of warehouse colleagues across the operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.

Job Description

We are looking for confident and hands-onWarehouse Team Leadersto join our Great Bear operation in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.
