Are you an experienced senior Warehouse Operative looking for your next step? Perhaps you’re already acting in a supervisory role but want a new challenge, whatever the reason, we have the role for you!

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to be based at our multi-user site in Ollerton, where you’ll be given the opportunity to lead your own team from the front and really make a difference. You will be responsible for ensuring all colleagues within the team are trained in their respective tasks, adhering to Health & Safety rules and procedures whilst meeting or exceeding operational requirements within the contract.

This is a permanent, full-time position, with working hours available:

Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm & Monday – Friday (Nights) – 10pm – 6am

We’re looking to offer a salary of £25,837 (Days) & £28,500 (inclusive of nights allowance) per annum and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Team management; developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPIs
• Lead the team on health & safety, demonstrating good working practices, and ensuring all operational processes are fully compliant while keeping your people safe
• Actively manage available resources and utilize staff where possible
• Maintain a constant presence within the warehouse delivering shift briefs and preparing handovers

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, automation, and multi-channel
• Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team
• Well-versed in warehouse management systems
• Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation
