Job Details

Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader pm shift

Location: LS11 0LR

Hours/days: Sunday to Thursday, 37 hours per week

Shifts: Sunday 0700-1430 & Monday - Thursday 1630-00:00

Rate of Pay: £25,974 + Night Shift Allowance

Job Purpose: Responsible for directing all operatives to ensure an efficient process aligned with budgeted targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure productivity rates are achieved and labour costs stay within targets related to SKUs and lines processed.
• Use IT, Knapp, and manual aids to monitor staff performance in productivity and accuracy against targets.
• Assist management with disciplinary processes by completing investigations or taking minutes as required.
• Keep damages below the agreed levels, aiming for no damaged stock.
• Maintain missing orders/stock within targets.
• Organize staff and ensure performance levels are maintained throughout the shift.
• Complete return to work forms within the correct timeframe.
• Follow H&S regulations and ensure staff compliance.
• Complete all 121s within the set timeframe.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.

Operating Standards:

• Coordinate with team members for smooth workflow.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in all areas.
• Ensure stock and returns are correctly stored daily.
• Present all documentation to managers after shifts.
• Complete team sheets accurately.

Communication:

• Provide leadership and motivation through regular team briefs.
• Maintain routine liaison with fellow team leaders.

Training and Development:

• Conduct effective training and development for staff.
