Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader pm shift

Location: LS11 0LR

Hours/days: Sunday to Thursday, 37 hours per week

Shifts: Sunday 0700-1430 & Monday - Thursday 1630-00:00

Rate of Pay: £25,974 + Night Shift Allowance

Job Purpose:

Responsible for directing all operatives to ensure an efficient process in line with budgeted targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure productivity rates are achieved and labor costs stay within targets, based on SKUs and lines processed.
• Monitor staff performance using IT, Knapp, and manual aids, focusing on productivity and accuracy.
• Assist management with disciplinary processes, investigations, or taking minutes when required.
• Keep damages below agreed levels, aiming for no damaged stock.
• Maintain missing orders/stock within targets.
• Organize staff and ensure performance standards are maintained throughout the shift.
• Complete return to work forms promptly.
• Follow H&S regulations and ensure staff compliance.
• Complete 121s within the scheduled time.
• Attend training to develop relevant skills and knowledge.

Operating Standards:

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in all areas.
• Ensure stock and returns are correctly stored daily.
• Present completed documentation to managers post-shift.
• Complete team sheets accurately.

Communication:

• Lead and motivate staff through regular briefings.
• Maintain routine liaison with fellow team leaders.

Training and Development:

• Conduct effective training and development of staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Essential:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of site operations and interdepartmental understanding.
• Experience with one-to-one processes and return-to-work procedures.
• Good numeracy and organizational skills.
• Training skills and awareness of warehouse H&S requirements.
