Job summary

Stiltz Homelifts in Kingswinford is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to run daily operations and drive on-time delivery of lifts, parts and spares.

You will lead a small team on the shop floor, coordinate goods in, packing and dispatch, and ensure stock accuracy in NetSuite while fostering a safe, organized working environment through 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics roles with leadership experience.
• Counterbalance forklift licence or willingness to gain one.
• Proficient with warehouse systems, email and Excel.
• Knowledge of health and safety and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily work planning and start-of-shift briefings.
• Train, coach and support your Warehouse Operatives.
• Oversee goods in, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure safe and correct loading of vehicles.
• Maintain stock accuracy on NetSuite and perform cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse safe, tidy and organized using 5S.
• Track team targets and identify improvements.
• Cover for the Warehouse Manager when needed.

Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Kingswinford, West Midlands (DY6 7TD)

Salary range: £30,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience) - Full time - Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm)

Ready to lead your own warehouse team? As our Warehouse Team Leader, you'll report to our Warehouse Manager and support the day-to-day running of the warehouse. You'll lead the team on the floor and make sure our lifts, parts and spares reach installers and customers on time and complete.

• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily work planning and start-of-shift briefings

• Keep stock accurate on our ERP system (NetSuite) and run cycle counts
• Keep the warehouse safe, tidy and organised using 5S

What you'll bring

• Warehouse, stores or logistics experience
• Previous experience leading a team, formally or as a senior operative
• A counterbalance forklift licence, or willingness to gain one (we'll support you)
• Confidence with warehouse systems, email and Excel
• Good knowledge of health and safety and manual handling within a warehouse environment

Great to have

• Reach truck licence or full UK driving licence
• WMS or barcode scanning experience
• IOSH, NVQ or Lean training
• Manufacturing or engineering stores experience
