Job summary

DHL in Worksop is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced, FMCG warehouse. You will drive operational excellence, coordinate daily activities and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the operation.

The role emphasizes people leadership, KPI communication and continuous improvement, with a focus on engaging colleagues and delivering results in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment is essential.
• Proficient in using WMS and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and build effective working relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience working within an automated FMCG warehousing operation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead a warehouse team to achieve operational excellence, service targets and customer expectations
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring effective task allocation, resource management and productivity performance
• Communicate KPIs, SLAs and operational priorities through regular team briefs and engagement sessions
• Champion a strong safety culture by maintaining Health & Safety standards and compliance across the operation
• Support colleague development, continuous improvement projects and employee relations activities to build a high-performing team
