Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is recruiting multiple Warehouse First Line Managers to lead a new start-up operation, driving safety, productivity and service KPIs while building a high-performing team.

The roles involve coordinating inbound, returns, pick, pack and outbound activities across shifts, with opportunities across earlies, lates and nights; start date in 2027; salary £28,000-£34,000 plus shift premium.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, logistics or distribution team leadership experience
• Strong people management, coaching and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach
• Automation, FMCG or start-up operation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of warehouse colleagues to achieve safety, productivity, quality and service KPIs
• Coordinate daily operational activities across areas such as Inbound, Returns, Pick, Pack and Outbound
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all DHL health, safety and security standards
• Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback and support colleague development and engagement
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, performance and operational standards
