Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Glasgow Hub. You will lead and own the on-site team of 5-6 operatives, ensuring KPI targets, SLA adherence, and health and safety standards are met.

You will coordinate workload and communicate across internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly. The role requires proven warehouse leadership, strong stock management knowledge, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Proven background and knowledge of warehouse operations ideally in a supervisory position.
• Great communication skills across all different levels.
• Good Warehouse & Logistics Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s,
• Allocating workload, managing priorities and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines,
• Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors and ensuring orders are packed correctly,
• Coaching team members on processes, safe working and best practice to improve performance,
• Ensuring goods are handled, stored and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity,
• Maintaining warehouse Heath & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping,
• Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable),
• Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service/transport/branch teams) to resolve issues quickly,
• Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers and External agency support.
