Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Glasgow Hub. You will lead a small team, manage daily warehouse operations, and ensure targets and SLAs are met while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires frontline supervision experience in logistics, strong stock control, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Monday to Friday, 10:30–19:00, with the potential to develop within a busy, people-first distribution team.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Strong communication across all levels.
• Good knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety practices.
• Proficiency with IT/warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s.
• Allocating workload, managing priorities and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors and ensuring orders are packed correctly.
• Coaching team members on processes, safe working and best practice to improve performance.
• Ensuring goods are handled, stored and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity.
• Maintaining warehouse Health & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping.
• Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable).
• Communicating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers and External agency support.
