W Talent is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for its Pinxton site in Nottinghamshire. You will lead a small team across two sites, ensuring accurate deliveries, safe operation, and high levels of customer satisfaction while working closely with the Warehouse Manager to meet targets and service levels.

The role requires at least 2 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse environment, strong organisational skills, and a pragmatic, proactive approach.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong organisational and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient, and self-motivated with a pragmatic and methodical approach.
• Comfortable challenging unsafe behaviours in line with company values and standards.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

Aufgaben

• Supervise a small team of warehouse employees, including a team leader, across two sites.
• Promote and maintain a positive working culture where colleagues are treated with dignity and respect.
• Maintain and update the shift log daily to ensure accurate records of colleague working hours.
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and tight deadlines within the warehouse team.
• Determine staffing levels and allocate workloads accordingly.
• Conduct return-to-work interviews, ensure absence reporting procedures are followed, and identify absence triggers.
• Pick orders using a forklift truck or powered pallet truck.
• Load and unload containers and deliveries, including manual handling where required.
• Use scanners for picking customer orders and locating stock.
• Accurately locate stock and check deliveries.
• Ensure production requests are actioned promptly and escape any delays to the Warehouse Manager.
