Job summary

AAH in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our leadership team, distributing pharmaceutical and healthcare products to customers and patients. You will lead a busy warehouse, coach your team, plan resources and ensure safety and SOP compliance to maintain excellent service levels.

As a supervisor you will drive productivity, manage day-to-day operations, and uphold high standards of health and safety across the branch while delivering a consistently outstanding customer

Qualifications

  • Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
  • Previous management experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills; proficient in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Experience with warehouse operations and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach your team to ensure productivity and KPI targets are met.
  • Plan and manage resources for daily operations to hit service levels.
  • Ensure safe operation and upkeep of warehouse equipment and high safety standards.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements (GDP/MHRA).
  • Make decisions improving branch performance aligned with values.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience at all times.

About The Role

Warehouse Supervisor

Join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor where you will be an integral part of the leadership team distributing pharmaceutical and healthcare products to our customers and patients. Permanent Contract – immediate start available.

permanent day shift with occasional Sunday cover when required, up to 39 hours per week, 5 days per week. Days Shift 16:00 to 00:00 (shift start and finish times may vary and occasional 6 day / shift may be required)

As one of our Warehouse supervisors, you will have a busy and active role:

  • Lead and coach your team to ensure productivity and KPI’s are being achieved
  • Plan and manage designated resource to undertake the day to day work to achieve service levels and key branch performance targets within employment costs
  • Ensure the safe operation and upkeep of all warehouse equipment and maintain high standards of health and safety, cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the branch
  • Ensure the operation adheres to Standard Operating Procedures within the branch to ensure compliance with statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies, GDP, MHRA and to retain the branch ISO quality accreditation
  • Make decisions which positively affect all aspects of branch performance that are aligned with our values
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience is provided at all times

Basic qualifications & Skills required:
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Previous management experience
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective team player
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous Warehouse experience and a sound understanding of warehouse operations
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
