Pertemps Black Country Perms in West Bromwich is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a small team of 4-5 operatives, and ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.

This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a proven track record in stock control, goods in/goods out, and health and safety compliance. FLT licence is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
• Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee all Goods In and Goods Out processes.
• Coordinate and assist with the unloading of containers and deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring stock accuracy at all times.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse methodologies and processes.
• Allocate workloads and direct team members to meet daily targets.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and adhered to.
• Operate FLT equipment where required and assist with warehouse duties.
• Support the team with picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse activities.
• Liaise effectively with internal departments and external suppliers/carriers.

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy Supply & Distribution company based in West Bromwich. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while leading a small team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in warehouse supervision, strong organisational skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 4-5 warehouse operatives.
• Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee all Goods In and Goods Out processes.
• Coordinate and assist with the unloading of containers and deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring stock accuracy at all times.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse methodologies and processes.

Key Skills

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role within the supply & distribution sector
• Proven track record of leading and motivating warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management, goods in and goods out procedures.
• Experience unloading containers and handling incoming shipments.
• Valid FLT (Forklift / Reach Truck) Licence or have held one before.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team when required.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out warehouse duties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excel knowledge would be advantageous
