We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our metal distribution warehouse in Reading. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe handling of a wide range of metal products including steel, aluminium, copper, and maintaining efficient and compliant warehouse processes across receiving, storage, processing, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

  Supervise and support daily warehouse operations during the late shift.
• 
  Oversee the safe handling, storage, and movement of various metal products.
• 
  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• 
  Coordinate and monitor receiving, storage, processing, and dispatch activities.
• 
  Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• 
  Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and workflow.
• 
  Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse operatives to meet performance targets.

Requirements:

• 
  Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
• 
  Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• 
  Experience handling metal products (steel, aluminium, copper, etc.) is desirable.
• 
  Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
