The role involves supervising daily warehouse activities, allocating staff, coaching teams, and ensuring compliance with GDPR, security and health & safety requirements.

Night Operations Supervisor

Location: Colnbrook

Salary: £35,000 per annum

M4 Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established international logistics and fulfilment business based in Colnbrook. We are looking for an experienced Night Operations Supervisor to join a fast-paced warehouse operation, leading teams to deliver outstanding service, operational efficiency and compliance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious warehouse or logistics supervisor looking to progress within a growing organisation.

Working Hours

• Probation (First 3 Months): Monday to Friday, 6am start
• After Successful Probation: Saturday to Wednesday, 9pm start
• Salary: £35,000 per annum

The Role

As Night Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation during your shift, ensuring customer shipments are processed safely, accurately and within agreed service levels.

Working closely with the Operations Management team, you will lead and motivate operational colleagues while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and fulfilment operations.
• Allocate labour effectively to meet operational demands.
• Escalate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct daily shift briefings and handovers.
• Monitor attendance, timekeeping and performance.
• Coach, mentor and support employee development.
• Ensure compliance with customs, security, GDPR and Health & Safety requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong IT skills, including email communication.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

• Logistics industry experience.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Security awareness.
• Dangerous Goods knowledge.
• Forklift licence.
• First Aid qualification.
