Job summary

Product Care Group seeks an experienced Warehouse Morning Shift Supervisor for our Northampton site in Nether Heyford. You will oversee a 3-person team, coordinate outbound home deliveries and inbound stock movements, and maintain stock accuracy and safety across all operations.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced warehouse, strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics, and proven ability to use WMS.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role in warehouse/distribution.
• Ability to use WMS and inventory control tools.
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate morning shift warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure safe and effective use of forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Monitor inventory levels, returns, stock movements and order fulfilment.
• Maintain outbound/inbound stock accuracy and manage stock control.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Lead and train warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Be the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational issues.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Morning Shift Supervisor at our Northampton site located in Nether Heyford to oversee all night shift operations Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:00 The successful candidate will supervise a warehouse staff of 3 operatives, coordinate outbound home delivery & inbound stock movements, maintain outbound / inbound stock accuracy, and ensure the highest levels of safety and performance across the operation.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Morning shift warehouse activities, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently, white glove detail for customer assurance.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Monitor inventory levels, returns processes, track orders, and assist with stock control and order fulfilment, maintain recycle daily/ weekly collections, Yard management.
• Implement and maintain best practices for inventory managemen t, stock inbound.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and collaboration within the warehouse team.
• Be a key point of contact for resolving any day-to-day operational issues that may arise.

Your Profile
