Job summary

Lioncroft Wholesale Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy depot in Birmingham. You will spend your day on the warehouse floor, coaching the team and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

Reporting to the Depot & Deputy General Manager, you will maintain high standards of housekeeping, stock accuracy and customer service while delivering daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives throughout the day.
• Plan and allocate work to maximise productivity.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and support where needed.
• Ensure stock is received, replenished and merchandised to company standards.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety across your section.
• Ensure pallets, equipment and warehouse areas remain organised and safe.
• Support customers and lead by example with excellent service.
• Carry out regular quality and stock checks, reporting issues promptly.
• Work closely with the management team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Support other areas of the depot as required.
• Lead by example with a hands‑on approach.

Lioncroft Wholesale Limited’s business was formed in 2020 after being bought out from the wider East End Foods’ business. This wholesale business is a £150m turnover company, stretched across two sites with ambitions to grow rapidly in the next few years. It operates through having a diverse customer base across thousands of customers and a strong supplier base.

Main Duties

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of our busy wholesale depots as a Warehouse Supervisor. Reporting to the Depot & Deputy General Manager, you'll lead by example, motivating and supporting your team to deliver exceptional operational standards, outstanding customer service and a safe, well-organised warehouse.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend your time on the warehouse floor, coaching your team, maintaining standards and ensuring the depot runs efficiently throughout the day.

What you’ll be doing

Every day is different, but you'll play a key role in keeping the depot operating safely, efficiently and to the highest standards by:

• Leading and motivating a team of Warehouse Operatives throughout the day

Period of Work

• 37.5 hours a week
• 5 days a week with weekend cover
• Customer facing, Warehouse based in Birmingham (Depots in Aston & Smethwick)
• Full time permanent position subject to a satisfactory completion of 4-month probationary period.
