Job summary

MTrec is recruiting for a warehouse role in the Team Valley area, Gateshead. You will be updating stock, picking and packing, and using scanners to manage warehouse stock movements.

Based in the stores department, you will operate pallet trucks and a counter-balance forklift to load and unload goods, with manual handling as required. Immediate start is preferred, with a view to a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Be able to work both individually in a team.
• Previous experience with a counterbalance forklift or expired licence would be advantageous.
• Should be able to start almost immediately.

Responsibilities

• Updating computer systems with stock inventory.
• Based in a stores department, picking and packing items into pallets.
• Working with scanners for scanning items in and out of the warehouse.
• Decanting items and transporting materials within the warehouse.
• Pallet trucks operated for transporting materials within the stores department.
• Manually lifting products and placing materials within the warehouse.
• Scanning items in and out of the warehouse with stock control systems.
• Operation of a counter-balance forklift trucks for loading and unloading wagons.
