Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland in Stretford is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure smooth goods flow from receipt to storage and staging. You will load/unload, operate forklifts and palletise items while adhering to safety, quality and timing requirements.

This temporary role offers an 8:30am–5pm schedule, Monday to Friday, £13.00–£13.50 per hour, and immediate start. You will use ERP systems to track stock, pick orders for internal use or dispatch, and support shipping and continuous process

Qualifications

• External FLT Counterbalance licence is essential for this role.
• Experience with palletising and stock handling preferred.
• Good numerical and IT literacy for ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from lorries safely.
• Operate forklifts and warehousing equipment following safety procedures.
• Pick pallets and prepare orders for internal use and dispatch.
• Label goods and prepare shipments with accurate documentation.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing goods against delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system.
• Support shipping, receiving and continuous warehouse improvement.
• Process orders and print labels using computer systems.
