Job summary

MTrec Ltd in Gateshead seeks a Warehouse Operative to update stock records, pick and pack items, and move goods around the warehouse using scanners and forklift trucks. You will handle loading, unloading, and stock control tasks in a busy stores environment.

The role requires ability to work in a team, start almost immediately, and offers a potential permanent contract after 12 weeks. Monday to Friday, 09:30–17:30 with onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse environment is expected.
• Experience with counterbalance forklift operation is advantageous.
• Able to start almost immediately.
• Permanent contract after 12 weeks is expected.

Responsibilities

• Update computer systems with stock inventory.
• Pick and pack items into pallets in the stores department.
• Operate scanners for stock in/out.
• Decant and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Use pallet trucks to move materials in the stores area.
• Manually lift products and place them in the warehouse.
• Scan items in/out using stock control systems.
• Operate counter-balance forklift for loading/unloading wagons.

The Jobs you’ll do;

• Updating computer systems with stock inventory
• Based in a stores department, picking and packing items into pallets
• Working with scanners for scanning items in and out of the warehouse
• Decanting items and transporting materials within the warehouse
• Pallet trucks operated for transporting materials within the stores department
• Manually lifting products and placing materials within the warehouse
• Scanning items in and out of the warehouse with stock control systems
• Operation of a counter-balance forklift trucks for loading and unloading wagons

About You;

• Be able to work both individually in a team.
• Previous experience with a counterbalance, or expired licence would be very advantageous
• Should be able to start almost immediately.
• Must be interested in a permanent contract after 12 weeks
