Job summary

SES Energy is seeking a Warehouse/Stores Operative to assist in daily warehouse and stores operations in Aberdeen. You will receive goods, process deliveries, inspect for damage, book stock in, and allocate storage locations in line with procedures.

You will conduct stock checks, monitor levels, perform order picking, packing, dispatch, and safe forklift operations, using the ERP system for transactions and reporting. A valid forklift certification and experience with stock control are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• Experience with stock inventory and control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operation of stores and warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods and process deliveries accurately.
• Inspect goods on receipt for damage or defects and report issues.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Book in stock and allocate materials to storage locations.
• Maintain stock control and ensure materials are counted and recorded.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight low inventory for reordering.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits of consumables and equipment.
• Use ERP system for stock management, transactions and reporting.
• Monitor warehouse emails and respond professionally.
• Undertake order picking, packing and dispatch preparation.
• Perform deliveries and operate forklifts safely.
