Warehouse Stock Operative

Location: Worksop

Salary: £25,396

Our client is an innovative and market-leading organisation providing audit services to some of the UK and Europe's largest Food, DIY, and Apparel retailers. We engage, listen, and work with our customers as trusted partners, often operating as an extension of their teams to deliver value-added business. Due to continued success, we are now looking for Warehouse staff for the following position.

The position

• This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre.
• Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid break
• Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, shifts between 11am-7pm
• Working Environment: Ambient

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure accurate stock entry and exit from the depot.

Activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
• Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently.
• Maintain data integrity at all times.
• Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in accordance with customer requirements.
