Are you a natural leader with a passion for fast-paced operations? Join our Morrisons Logistics team as a Nights Shift Manager and take ownership of our ambient production within the warehouse. This role is at the heart of ensuring our shelves stay stocked and our customers stay happy.

As a Shift Manager, you’ll be leading a team of Team Managers and Warehouse Colleagues during the night shift, ensuring the efficient and timely picking of products ready for delivery to our stores. It’s a high-energy, fast-moving environment – and we’re looking for someone who thrives on the challenge.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and motivating your team to achieve performance targets and deliver to deadlines
  
• Managing all shift activities, including scheduling rotas and labour planning to meet production demands
  
• Overseeing ambient warehouse operations and providing guidance to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  
• Driving operational excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  
• Monitoring and controlling resource spend, ensuring cost-effective performance
  
• Coaching and developing Team Managers to support their growth and ensure top team performance
  
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures
  

About you

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Shift Manager (or similar) in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
  
• A strong track record in people management with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams
  
• Excellent coaching skills and the ability to develop others through clear communication and support
  
• Problem-solving expertise with the confidence to make decisions and drive process improvements
  
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively
• Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure – especially during night operations
