Job summary

GXO is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to join our NHSSC contract at the Daventry site. You’ll drive day-to-day operations, lead a team of warehouse and transport operators and drivers, and ensure targets and service levels are met while maintaining a strong safety culture.

This is a full-time, permanent role on a 5-from-7 shift pattern (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) with a salary up to £40,500 per annum and 33 days annual leave, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, private medical and

• Experience in a busy operational environment with ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Good verbal and written communication at all levels.
• Well organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and motivate the team to meet daily performance targets and weekly KPIs.
• Line-manage warehouse and transport operators and drivers; ensure training and compliance.
• Liaise with other departments and manage customer relationships; ensure effective communication.
• Promote health, safety and environmental practices and address underperformance.
• Collect and input statistical information for reports.
