Job summary

Volvo Group UK Distribution Centre in Rugby (relocating to Coventry in June 2027) is seeking a Quality Coordinator to uphold quality across the warehouse operation. You will investigate inventory issues, perform quality checks and support continuous improvement to ensure parts are right first time.

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will coordinate stocktakes, drive audits and collaborate with the team to improve accuracy and efficiency during the relocation period.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, distribution or inventory control environment.
• Experience applying Lean, Kaizen and VPS methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and warehouse processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Reach Truck and HLOP licences would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Plan and complete daily, weekly, periodic and annual stocktakes per site requirements.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damages, shortages and location errors; identify root causes.
• Maintain records for stocktakes, audits, quality checks, non-conformances and investigations.
• Support preparation for internal and external audits by providing evidence and insight.
• Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse colleagues to improve stock control, warehouse accuracy, audit compliance and quality performance.
