Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is recruiting a Warehouse Project Operative for our busy warehouse and logistics site in Barton-under-Needwood, Burton-on-Trent (England). You will support day-to-day warehouse moves, inventory checks and project-specific tasks to ensure accurate stock handling.

Training will be provided on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including HLOP, VNA and Counterbalance Forklift. Previous forklift experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties and stock movements.
• Move and transfer stock around the warehouse.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Project Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Barton-under-Needwood, Burton-on-Trent.

The role will involve working across day-to-day warehouse activities, inventory management, stock transfers and project-specific tasks. As a Warehouse Project Operative, you will work across different areas of the operation and help ensure stock is moved, stored and processed accurately and safely.

Duties will include:

• General warehouse duties
• Moving and transferring stock around the warehouse
• Inventory management and stock control
• Picking, moving and preparing stock
• Completing project-specific warehouse tasks
• Assisting with warehouse layout and process changes
• Ensuring stock movements are recorded accurately

  MHE Training

  Training will be provided across a range of Material Handling Equipment, including:

  • HLOP
  • VNA
  • Counterbalance Forklift

  Previous forklift or MHE experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

  Requirements

  The successful Warehouse Project Operative will ideally have:

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • A reliable and flexible approach to work
