Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Warehouse Person at our Kingston upon Thames depot. You will unload deliveries, check stock, and ensure accurate records while upholding strict health and safety standards.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will perform daily forklift checks, assist with deliveries and collections, and help maintain a tidy, well-run warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable.
• Stock control and health and safety knowledge.
• Independent and team player.
• Attention to detail and accurate records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily forklift truck and equipment checks.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient with stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with a professional and helpful service.
