Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Tamworth to join a fast-paced team. You will handle inbound and outbound goods, ensuring accurate receiving, packing and put-away while following standard operating procedures.

The role requires a reliable, safety-conscious candidate with good English, basic IT/data entry skills, and the ability to work to SOPs. MHE licences are desirable and own transport is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Good level of spoken and written English, with the ability to understand both verbal and written instructions.
• Basic IT and data entry skills.
• Ability to plan and manage own time.
• MHE licences (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, etc.) desirable.
• Own transport required.

Responsibilities

• Unload, check, and prepare goods for storage or dispatch.
• Pick, pack, label, and palletise products accurately.
• Process returned goods and maintain stock integrity.
• Perform quality checks and support inventory audits.
• Operate manual handling equipment and complete safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Report incidents and support continuous improvement initiatives.
