Job Description:

• £12.55 per hour

Focused Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for a manufacturing site in Tredegar. Candidates must hold an external Counterbalance Fork Lift Licence; a Pivot steer licence is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work:

• Day shift: 06:00 - 14:00, Monday to Friday
• Night shift: 22:00 - 06:00, Monday to Friday
• Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:00, Monday to Friday

The role involves:

• Receiving and controlling raw materials as per SOPs
• Completing supplier check sheets accurately
• Driving FLT safely within the site
• Sampling incoming raw materials promptly
• Assisting with order picking and dispatch
• Ensuring materials are available for production
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness as per SOPs
• Utilising NAVision IT system for stock management
• Liaising with Quality Control
• Reporting material shortfalls
• Operating KANBAN systems
• Participating in environmental projects, including waste management

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Good teamwork skills
• External Counterbalance FLT Licence
