Staffline is recruiting for Baggage Handling Colleagues to work for our client, DHL, at Bristol Airport.

The rate of pay is £ per hour. Overtime is available and paid at the same rate.

This is a full-time role with rotating shifts in a 5 on/3 off pattern. Shift times are 9 hours, starting from 3am, 5am, 10am, or 12pm, requiring flexibility.

All candidates will undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing. Successful candidates must hold a full UK driving license, as the role involves driving vehicles between the terminal and the apron, including towing.

Free bus service available between the City Centre and the Airport.

Candidates will need to provide references covering the last 5 years and be willing to undergo a DBS check.

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing baggage for onward travel using manual and automated systems
• Operating specialist equipment within the Baggage Handling Unit
• Delivering baggage to aircraft in preparation for loading
• Ensuring compliance with airline and airport policies
• Maintaining a safe working environment
• Adapting to adverse weather conditions to ensure safety and efficiency

This role involves manual handling; candidates should be physically fit and able to lift luggage weighing up to 30kg.
