Job summary

GEODIS INTERSERVICES in the United Kingdom is seeking a Junior Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will perform picking, packing, and stock control duties in a fast-paced environment, using hand scanners and labels to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a good level of numeracy, English language proficiency, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures. A counterbalance or reach truck licence is preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• English speaking and can undertake training to understand processes and Health & Safety briefs.
• Understand company documents and customer picking sheets, etc.
• A good level of numeracy to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times following Health & Safety procedures.
• Report near misses or safety concerns to Shift Leader or Manager.
• Pick and pack customer orders using hand scanners and label boxes.
• Report quality issues or damages immediately to Shift Leader or Manager.
• Load and unload vehicles; wrap pallets for despatch or put away.
• Rework and customise customer orders; check returns and repack.
• Check inbound deliveries, label and repalletise; scan stock into locations.
• Stock counting, replenishment and consolidation; maintain housekeeping.
• Follow policies, procedures and SOPs; use trained equipment only.
