PE Global International is seeking a warehouse operative for roles indoors and outdoors at a chemical manufacturing site in the UK. The role involves loading/unloading, picking, packing, stock counting, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Experience in warehousing or chemical packaging is preferred; forklift driving is advantageous and training is provided. Numeracy and literacy are required, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or chemical packaging is preferred.
• Prior forklift driving is advantageous; specific forklift training provided.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with good attention to detail required.

Responsabilités

• Load and unload bulk raw materials and finished production to storage tanks.
• Pick raw materials for production and stock for customer orders; label accordingly.
• Pack from bulk to drums and IBCs.
• Support cycle counting to ensure stock matches the system.
• Follow safety/emergency procedures; act as part of the site response team.
• Follow all quality and safety procedures to ensure high-quality shipping.
• Assist Production Team with routine tasks like managing sample points and waste.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse practices and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse following Zero Tolerance and Life Critical Procedures.
• Be aware of Quality and Safety procedures to ensure product quality.
